Greetings from the Office of the Superintendent!

As we continue to ride the wave of being a TEA Recognized District, our journey towards excellence must continue.  This will be a year of transformation for CHISD.  You will notice many new faces and programs as we transform what we do as well as the way we do it to ensure the success of our students.  What will not change is the passion and dedication that our staff will bring to work each day.  This commitment coupled with your support is critical to the success of our district.

This year, we will again continue to take calculated steps on our way to becoming a premier district with a world class educational system. We will not rely on luck or chance; we will continue to create the circumstances to ensure that our vision is achieved.  We will transform our instructional delivery methods to effectively educate our students in an environment conducive to learning.

Accordingly, CHISD will continue to:

• Design and implement a rigorous instructional delivery system that is data driven and fosters student engagement

• Recruit, develop, and retain highly qualified employees in an environment that embraces diversity

• Prepare college-bound students

• Maintain the budget process to achieve district goals

• Promote and support a safe and orderly learning environment

We need everyone on board including parents and community members in order to reach our vision of a world-class educational system.
