Data Management (PEIMS) encompasses all data for the entire school district required by TEA (Texas Educational Agency).
This includes:
- information on students,
- staff members,
- district finances, and
- general organizational information.
More specifically, school registrars and attendance personnel update and track student demographic information and daily attendance. In conjunction with individual teachers, campus counselors are responsible for tracking individual student academic performance, determining student needs and tracking student performance on state standards (TAKS).
