Education: Associate of Science Degree in Sociology from Navarro College, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Services from The University of North Texas, and Master of Science Degree in Human Relations and Business from Amberton University.

Trustee Nemons spent 17 years with the Dallas Independent School District in various management positions including his most recent position in the Teaching and Learning Division.  He is currently serving his fourth term as a CHISD Trustee.  Trustee Nemons is presently the Board President and has previously served as Vice-President.  He is a tireless advocate for the quality education of all students and the importance of creating an environment and expectation that all children can achieve at a high level. He served on the District Advisory Committee (DAC) from 1998- 2001, where he was chairperson for 2 years. He also served on the City of Cedar Hill's Human Relations Committee from 1998-2000 and is a 2007 graduate of the Leadership Southwest Leadership Development Program. 

Trustee Nemons and his wife Rita, a Registered Nurse with the V.A. North Texas Medical Center, have three (3) sons, Eric, Brian, and Terrel II, all three being graduates of Cedar Hill High School.  Eric, a graduate of the University of Central Florida is currently in law school at Florida A&M University in Orlando.  Brian is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and works in Operations at Chase Bank.  Terrel II is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, where he was a three (3) year starter on the defensive line of the Golden Hurricane Football Team.  He is employed as a Personal Banker for Chase Bank in Tulsa.  The Nemons are members of New Beginnings Community Fellowship Church in Cedar Hill and are involved in numerous church ministries.
