Each year, the Texas Education Agency publishes a summary of campus, district, regional, and state data in a report called the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS). The report reflects information from the previous school year, although some data is from two-year old PEIMS sources. Included in this report is a glossary of terms; state, regional, campus and campus comparison group performance data; and district/campus performance and profile information. The performance section details the current results of the state testing program. The profile section gives an overall look at the district/campuses and compares each school to a Campus Group, public schools within the state that are demographically most similar to each campus.
The AEIS report is presented in a public forum each January prior to the regularly scheduled school board meeting. Hardcopies of the report become available for public review in each campus office, the Superintendent's office, the public library. CD copies of the report are available for parents.
The 2011-2012 report is posted online following the January public hearing and board meeting. Updated each January for the previous school year.
